Big Girl Bed

Knowing that we were going to buy Sydney a bed over the weekend, we let her go pick out her own bedding on Saturday. There were several choices - Ariel, Disney Princesses, Hello Kitty, and non-descript pink. Sydney didn't get past the Hello Kitty choice. She yelled "Kitty" and tried to pick up the comfortor package. She ended up with the Hellow Kitty Mod Shopper comfortor, sheets and an extra Hello Kitty pillow. We convinced her that the sheets and comfortor had to go in the basket, but she insisted on carrying around her pillow. She only let go of it enough to have it scanned at the cash register.
Sunday we went and picked up her new bed and brought it home. After the family photos, we put her bed together and made it for her. She was so excited to have her own bed!
