The theme this week seems to be dance. Shelby had her first level 1 technique dance class and her first performance team practice. There are about 10 girls in the technique class that she's in and it's a range of 5-7 year olds. She likes the new teacher, so things should go well. Performance team started learning their first routine this week. They've got a performance on the 29th of September, so her teacher got them working right away. The song is Rhinoceros Tap (Sandra Boynton) and Shelby was very excited since we have that music. Now I just have to find it, so we can listen to it. ;)
Sydney had her first dance class and she was so excited. She's been waiting a year to have her turn and there was no stopping her. She is the absolute youngest in her class. It's a 2 & 3 year old mommy and me class and the other girls are close to their next birthday where Sydney just had her birthday. No worries - Sydney's been watching her sister dance for a year, so there's not much of a learning curve.
